Now that the weather in the Philadelphia area is finally spring-like, it’s time to shake off the winter doldrums. If you intend to do more driving now that the weather has improved, you need to know that your Mazda vehicle is up for it.
These are the Mazda service tasks to get done sooner rather than later.
1. Brake Check
Stop-and-go driving is pretty much par for the course in our area, which means your daily drive may put a lot of strain on your brakes. This is why it’s a smart idea to have the system checked, and especially if you have noticed any issues, like a squeaking sound.
2. Battery Test
It’s possible that the cold and icy winter did a number on your battery. And because they generally only last about five years or so, you should have yours tested to see how much charge it has left.
3. Oil Change
Have you had to stop to get gas a lot lately? It could be because you’re overdue for an oil change. With old oil, your engine has to work harder, which means gas is used up faster. Changing the oil is something you’ll definitely want to do if a spring road trip is in your future.
4. Wiper Replacement
If you’re lucky, you will get a couple of years out of your wipers. Things like ice and harsh rays from the sun cause them to wear down pretty quickly. To make sure you have the best visibility at all times, it may be time for a new pair.
If you need any of these tasks or something else, the service center at Peruzzi Mazda will take care of it. Contact us to make an appointment.
