Performance

The 2025 Mazda3 Hatchback comes in seven trims, including the newly available 2025 Mazda3 Hatchback 2.5 S. Two engines are available, with most trims equipping a 2.5-liter four-cylinder rated at 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes standard with front-wheel drive, with the option for all-wheel drive.

The two high-end Turbo trims upgrade to a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that achieves 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque and comes standard with i-ACTIV AWD®. A six-speed automatic transmission does the shifting for both engines, with the S Premium trim getting a manual transmission for drivers seeking a more active experience.
