Summertime can do a number on your vehicle. The increased temperatures cause your car to work harder than normal, which raises the chances of a breakdown or another issue. However, with a few quick tips, you can avoid unnecessary wear and tear on your vehicle and enjoy the weather during all of your summer travels.

Follow these tips to keep your car cool and to keep yourself cool while in the car:

  1. Ensure your AC is working. It may need a charge, hose repair, or another fix if it’s not blowing out cold air. We will happily diagnose the issue for you at our Mazda service center and make sure the AC is working properly in time for your summer travel plans.
  2. Park in the shade whenever possible — garage parking is even better! Not only does this keep your car cooler on the inside, but it protects the paint job from extreme UV rays and debris that can cause harm to it.
  3. Utilize a sunshade, window visor, or other product designed to reflect the heat off of your vehicle. If you won’t be driving your vehicle often, you may even opt for a car cover for further protection. If you’re just running into the store for an errand or something like that, a good option is to leave your windows cracked.
  4. Avoid leaving any meltable objects or plastic bottles in your car. You want to protect the interior of you car, but also your health! Plastics can break down over time when exposed to extreme heat, and it’s not safe to consume food or drinks that are exposed to those chemicals.

Our Mazda dealership is here to help with all aspects of car ownership, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

At Peruzzi Mazda, we are your customer service point of contact for all things Mazda. We love sharing tips and info about our vehicles so that you have an easier time car shopping. If you’ve heard good things about the 2019 Mazda CX-9, you’ll be pleased to learn that not much is changing for the new model year.

The Mazda CX-9 has been a hit for more reasons than one. It’s a great family car with three rows of seating. It’s available with a wide range of trims and price points. And best of all, this model can be exactly as luxurious as you want it to be. As of this year, it includes smartphone integration and driver assistance features like blind-spot monitors, lane departure warnings, forward-collision warnings, and more.

Under the hood, you can expect the same 2.5-liter turbo SKYACTIV®-G engine and six-speed transmission that we loved about the current model. You get your choice of front or all-wheel-drive, plus you can tow up to 3,500 pounds with this SUV. This model still gets the efficiency you need on those family trips, despite its large size.

The Mazda CX-9 is luxurious inside and out, and the trim choices let you get that almost customized feel. It’s up to you whether you want the basic necessities or the kind of features you can really show off to friends and family.

If you’re ready to consider a Mazda car loan, fill out our finance application online to get started. At Peruzzi Mazda, we look forward to showing you the current Mazda CX-9 in person or talking more about the upcoming 2020 vehicle. Come see us today.

The Mazda lineup is about to get a new addition right between two of our favorites — the Mazda CX-3 and Mazda CX-5. This new model is a crossover SUV that is both sleek and bold based on the SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY underpinnings that we love in the 2019 Mazda3. Say hello to the upcoming Mazda CX-30.

This new model name really makes sense once you get to know the vehicle. It’s got everything we love about the interior of the new Mazda3, but the height, cargo volume, and power of an SUV. The premium interior touches and comfortable seating will undoubtedly help this car beat out its competitors. The standard and available tech will give customers options that give a customized feel for any budget.

At Peruzzi Mazda, we can’t wait to see this model our lot in a few months. We don’t know for sure which engine it will feature, but experts are thinking that it may be the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated inline-four SKYACTIV®-G with a six-speed SKYACTIV®-Drive transmission that we’ve seen in other Mazda models recently. If that’s the case, it should get around 186 horsepower. We’ve love to see the new compression-ignition SKYACTIV®-X engine as an option as well!

The model will likely come with front-wheel drive and i-ACTIV AWD® drive options, and we welcome you to test drive it once it’s available on our lot so you can feel the difference for yourself. And when it comes to design, you know Mazda engineers will always bring you innovation and creativity.

We look forward to sharing more information with you about the Mazda CX-30 as it becomes available. If you live in Fairless Hills, PA and wanted to find a “Mazda dealership near me,” we are here for all of your car shopping needs. Come by today!

As your Mazda dealers near Philadelphia, we have all the info you need to support you throughout your mission to buy a new vehicle at Peruzzi Mazda. If you’ve been thinking about reducing your carbon footprint and purchasing a car that’s a bit more environmentally friendly for your family’s future, we think you’re going like the news regarding some upcoming Mazda vehicles.

According to Mazda CEO Akira Marumoto, “the first Mazda battery-electric vehicle will hit the market next year.” He also remarked during the interview that there will be some plug-in hybrid Mazda models coming in 2021 or 2022. As Mazda dealers, we can’t wait to see them in person, and some promising photos have already been leaked online.

While we don’t know much about these upcoming models, other than the fact that they’ll have that signature Mazda exterior sense of style, we do think they’ll be very versatile – with some sedan and SUV options. Powertrain and battery specs haven’t been set in stone yet, as they’re still in the testing phase, but we are expecting a variety of different engines for our customers to choose from.

Later down the line, Marumoto remarked that Mazda and Toyota will be partnering on some electric-vehicle projects to improve the “green” car game. Maybe someday there will even be an electric Mazda Miata. We can’t wait to see what Mazda engineers come up with over the next three years and to share that info with you as it comes.

To find us, Fairless Hills residents can search for “car dealerships near me” online. We look forward to chatting with you more about what you’re looking for in a new vehicle. Call, email, or stop by our lot today.

Image of a mechanic fitting a tire onto a car.

If you’ve ever driven with a flat tire, you know what it feels like. It’s bumpy and you can’t steer quite right, and something is just…off. If you suspect you have a flat tire, it’s important to pull off the road somewhere safe as soon as you are able. From there, you can follow our quick guide to how to deal with a flat tire. You have a few different options:

Option 1: Call AAA or another service you may be subscribed to for roadside assistance.

Option 2: Call a tow truck.

Option 3: Call a trusted friend or family member.

Option 4: Take the situation into your own hands.

For those opting for #4, you’ll want to start by locating your spare tire, jack, and tire iron. Keep these in your car if you don’t already. After that, it’s a matter of loosening the wheel lugs, jacking up the car to about six inches off the ground, then swapping out the damaged tire for the temporary. Next, lower the car and tighten the wheel lugs so you can hit the road and make your way to our Mazda service center.

Spare tires are to be driven on carefully, slowly, and only on a temporary basis as they are not up to the quality of your typical all-season tire. As soon as you get the chance, bring your vehicle to us so we can check out the flat tire and see if it’s repairable. If it’s not, we will assist you in selecting a new one.

Come down to our Mazda dealership any time to learn more about proper car care. No question is too small or large for us, and our trained service technicians will love and care for your car just like you do. Visit us today!

Before you jump right into getting a Mazda car loan, you’ll likely want to take some time to think about your budget and the initial expenses that come with a new car. If you’ve never owned your own car before, don’t worry! Your friends over at Peruzzi Mazda in Fairless Hills, PA can give you an idea of what you need to prepare for and then help you find that ideal new car.

When you’re budgeting for a new car, there’s a lot more to consider than the base price of the car or what your monthly payment may be. And even with financing, you have to account for interest, which accumulates over time.

The big transactions to plan for are:

  • Down payment (may or may not be optional depending on your credit)
  • Car insurance
  • Registration and titling fees
  • Tax (depending on the state)

Other auto-related expenses:

  • Gas
  • Maintenance
  • Possible repairs

Thankfully, to help with these incidentals, we provide a group of Mazda service offers that change each month. Additionally, the SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY in our new models helps your vehicle become more fuel-efficient, which can cut down on how much you need to spend at the pump. Odds are you will have an unexpected repair at some point down the road, and your budget planning should reflect that.

If you’re not set on purchasing a new vehicle, we also offer Mazda vehicle leases that eliminate some of the complexities that come with purchasing.

Come in to our Mazda dealership when you have a tentative idea of budget and you’re ready to get the process started. We look forward to working with you on your new car!

At our Mazda service center in Fairless Hills, PA, we love any excuse to celebrate and discuss the many car care services we provide. April is National Car Care month, and we want to make sure our local customers don’t miss out! Call us or visit our website to schedule your next service appointment soon.

As always, car care is a bit of an investment. However, you might not realize that the routine services and parts replacements add up over time to help increase the value of your vehicle. This means when you go to sell or trade it, you’ll get more money back than if these services had been neglected. Additionally, a well maintained vehicle, on average, will run more efficiently than one that’s in need of repairs or maintenance, which will save you money at the pump.

Those simple oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services will help you out in the long run. And with your favorite Mazda dealers, it’s convenient and budget-friendly to keep up with them. On our website, you’ll see service and parts specials, warranty information, recall information, and our tire selection, among other useful tools. You can also schedule an appointment with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Our service center in Fairless Hills is open weekdays 7:30am to 6pm and 7:30am to 4:30pm on Saturday for your convenience. If you’re a new car buyer or you’ve never financed before, we want to make sure you’re not intimidated by the process. At the end of the day, financing is just helping you get the vehicle you want and need for affordable monthly payments. Applying to finance with us is stress-free and you can do it anytime.

Financing is when you’re working with a lending institution (which we can recommend for you or you can contact on your own) to borrow the total amount due for an item like a new vehicle. In exchange for allowing you to borrow this money to pay the dealership, your lender charges you an interest rate, which is included in monthly payments you make over time.

We first recommend that your get your credit score. Based on your credit score and credit history, we will be able to let you know the interest rate, loan length, and monthly payment you qualify for. You can use this information to fill out our easy finance application online and see what kind of loan and terms you qualify for.

With the help of our website, you can also calculate a possible monthly payment, evaluate your trade-in vehicle instantly, or apply for a Mazda auto loan with just a few clicks of the mouse. We also have information online regarding Mazda vehicle leases and who might be a good candidate for those.

We recommend step one as taking a quick look at our online new or pre-owned inventory. If you think we might have just the car for you, fill out the finance application to get started!

Once you’ve been approved (or even beforehand if you’d like) come down to our Mazda showroom to see everything we have to offer in Fairless Hills. If you have any questions, you can always contact us online, or come down to the dealership to speak with an expert in-person. We look forward to working with you!
