As your local Mazda dealership, we get really enthusiastic about new models that we will be able to offer to our customers in the future, as well as the wide selection we’ve got on hand now. We’ve just gotten a sneak peek at the official drawings for the upcoming 2019 Mazda3, and we have to let you know just how impressed we were!
The Mazda3 has been one of our favorite hatchback/sedan combos of late thanks to its compact, yet comfortable nature. However, we have so much more to look forward to in its next generation, which is expected to remind us of the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-9 redesigns.
Now in early production, the 2019 Mazda3 is likely to include a fresh look with a more aggressive front-end including slimmer lights and wider U-shaped grille that cuts into the headlamps, plus a smoother ride than previous model years.
We are told the interior will stay simple and clean, but with some upgrades there as well. This includes a brand new instrument panel, oval air vents, and a massive digital screen. Experts are also predicting the new Mazda3 will employ the latest Mazda SKYACTIV®-Vehicle Architecture, which should help it compete in the largest, most extraordinary auto segment out there.
We plan to update you with more information as we get it, but in terms of safety, tech, comfort, and performance, we have no doubts this car will continue to surprise us. We are hoping to see this model debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, but only time will tell. We’ll be anxiously awaiting a closer look until then.
