When your Mazda lease nears the end of its term, you’ll have a few options to consider. It helps to be prepared for this event, as what you need to do will depend on how your lease will end. Contact Peruzzi Mazda today to learn how to best prepare.

Inspect Your Vehicle

The first thing you should do when you’re preparing for your lease-end is check the vehicle for damage or necessary repairs. This includes the essential parts (engine, transmission, electronics, etc) and any cosmetic damage. We recommend scheduling a complimentary Mazda inspection 15-60 days before returning your car. If your vehicle has any problems when you turn it in, you’re liable for it and may pay Excess Wear and Tear fees — so stay on top of everything with regular maintenance.

Clean Your Vehicle

Once your leased vehicle is serviced and ready to go, you’ll want to clean out the vehicle before turning it in. This includes both cleaning it of dirt and debris and removing all of your personal effects from the cabin and trunk. Give the vehicle a thorough look so you don’t leave anything important behind.

Choose Your Lease-End Option

There are several options to choose from regarding how your lease ends. Do you want to buy the vehicle from your lease, upgrade to a new lease, or just drop the vehicle off? We’re here to accommodate you no matter what you’re looking to do, so contact us to get started on a new financing or leasing option.
