Under the hood of this new vehicle, you’ll find a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine, with the option of a turbocharged engine, like that found in the Mazda CX-9 SUV. With this change the model gets up to 250 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft torque. You’ll still get the option of six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Overall, the model will still be highly efficiency, getting up to 35 miles per gallon on the highway.
On the inside, this model is almost completely new with a crazy-impressive head-up display that projects information onto the windshield, plus a 360 degree camera system and ventilated front seats. Adaptive cruise control will bring the Mazda6 to a complete stop and can accelerate back to a set speed once traffic clears.
Rain sensing wipers, collision warning, lane deviation warning, roadside assistance, wireless data, internet radio, and luxury moonroof are just a few of the many luxurious features possible with the 2018 Mazda6.
Lastly, if you want literally all of the bells and whistles, check out the top-of-the-line Signature trim, which is our favorite of the several trim options offered for this model year. Offered only with the turbocharged engine, this model will have specialty Japanese Sen wood interior details.
