New Tech Upgrades to Mazda Vehicles
We love the 2018 Mazda6 and we think all of our customers should at least give it a little look when it comes time for car shopping. This sedan is smooth, stylish, and most importantly, safe. If you’ve already taken a test drive in this model, or even more so, you’ve gone out and purchased your own Mazda6, you know what we mean. And if you’re a current owner of this car, we have some exciting news for you.
Courtesy of your local Mazda dealers, you can get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay installed in your 2018 Mazda6 vehicle (Touring trim and up), completely free. Our brand announced just a few weeks ago that this service is available and we are happy to offer it!
Basically, you just make an appointment with a trusted Mazda dealership service center. It takes about two hours for the hardware and software to be installed, so you just sit back and relax. When it’s done, you can sync up your Android or iPhone to your vehicle and drive off with all-new entertainment options.
Another perk of this complimentary service is it also will add a faster-charging 2.1-amp USB port. The redesigned 2018 Mazda6 is available now in five different trim levels with a very moderate base price. You also get your choice of two engines, as well as many tech and convenient add-on features.
We hope you enjoy the customer-appreciation aspect of being a Mazda owner. We truly appreciate your business and want to improve your driving experience in any way we can. As your Mazda dealership in PA, we are here to serve your best interests today and always. Come visit us soon.
More About the 2018 Mazda6
The 2018 Mazda6 has been on our lot for a couple months, but that doesn’t mean the excitement surrounding this vehicle has toned down at all. We love this car for many reasons – from its turbo motor to the upscale touches that remind of us a classic Japanese temple, there’s so much to discuss with this car.
According to Auto Week, one should never complain about more power in a Mazda car, and that’s exactly what the Mazda6 is offering. If you love the punchier motor like that of the Mazda CX-9, but want it in a sedan, we’re here to say your dreams have come true. The SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T motor, when run on 93-octane fuel, gets up to 250 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque, a substantial upgrade from last year.
There are some other non-turbo options, including a six-speed manual vehicle. This vehicle also has great styling and a well-designed interior for 2019. Brown nappa leather inspired by aged wood in Japanese temples, UltraSuede NU adorned with a gold tint reminiscent of ornate kimonos, and Sen wood accents like that used in taiko drums and Japanese furniture come together for a totally unique look.
This vehicle has so much power, personality, and a deep connection to Japanese heritage, it’s really unlike any others in our lineup. It’s also quieter with thicker suspension trailing link mounts which make for improved handling – even though the handling was well-received before.
If you’ve been looking for Mazda dealerships in PA, we are the one you should trust with your new car decision and you can view this model on our lot currently. We look forward to working with you today.

The Importance of a Test Drive
At Peruzzi Mazda, we love to share tips and information with our customers to make their car buying decision a little easier. We also take great pride in having such a fair and efficient Peruzzi service center to call our own. Today, we want to stress the importance of test driving and give some tips to help you get the most out of it.
- Come Prepared
If you do your research on our website beforehand, you can narrow down your top favorites to two or three models before you visit us. It can be overwhelming to make that kind of selection on the spot, so come with your list of favorite models handy and it’ll be stress free.
- Take Notes
It may seem a little dorky, but if you’re really caught between a few choices, taking notes will help, especially if you’re buying pre-owned and have even more factors to consider like mileage and condition. You can write the pros and cons of each, take pictures, and otherwise write down information that you’ll want to remember later as you make your final decision.
- Take Your Time
Make sure you come to test drive at a day or time when you won’t be in a hurry to leave. Take a few moments to drive, and then take a seat in the passenger side. Riding from that perspective may help you notice things you were unable to when you were busy driving.
We hope these quick tips helped and that you have fun on your next test driving excursion. If you live in or near Fairless Hills and have searched online for “car dealerships near me,” we are your local Mazda dealers, and we are here to help.
When is it Time for Brake Service?
Have you had your brakes checked recently? It’s a smart idea to get them routinely checked (like each time you get an oil change) so when they are in need of service or replacement, the experts in our Peruzzi service center can help right away. And, we’ve got all the information you need about brake service and replacement below, for those who may need a refresher.
Brake Service: What and Why?
Healthy brakes are important for every vehicle, especially when it comes to driving in inclement weather or stopping in the case of an emergency. You need properly functioning brakes to keep you safe. While the lifespan of different brake pads varies from 25,000 to 70,000 miles, your vehicle manual may be able to give you a better idea of how long yours will last.
As a rule of thumb though, brakes pads should be replaced and/or serviced as needed. The occasional fluid swap may be necessary, too. When your brake pad is at or below ¼ inch, it is no longer safe. Other issues you might be having with your brakes can be identified by a number of other symptoms: difficulty braking, vibrations, growling or screeching sounds, or if your vehicle pulls to one side when you use the brakes.
We hope this quick info reminded you how important brakes and brake pads are for you car, and gave you a reminder to have yours checked ASAP. As your Mazda dealership in PA, we want to help you get those brakes taken care of, and stay on budget, too, with a variety of coupons and specials, so we invite you to check out our current specials online before you come in! Right now, we have a free Pennsylvania state safety inspective when you get a Pennsylvania state emissions test. This offer is valid through Dec. 31.
New Mazda MX-5 Gets Upgraded
Coming to Europe in August and the United States shortly after, the new Mazda MX-5–otherwise known as the Mazda Miata–is definitely a new car to get excited about. Peruzzi Mazda has all of your need-to-know information and you can come by our Fairless Hill dealership anytime to chat more about this upcoming model.
First of all, the 2019 Mazda MX-5 will see a reworked SKYACTIV®-G 2.0-liter gasoline engine for 2019, which is capable of producing 181 horsepower and 151 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s 3 lb.-ft. and 26 horsepower more than before. Due to this increase in power, we’ve also raised the redline from 6,800 RPM to 7,500 RPM. A brand new exhaust will give this model a richer sound quality, too.
According to carscoops.com, this model is a more responsive and engaging drive than ever before, and it will also see design and tech upgrades. A brown canvas soft top and black metallic 17-inch rims will be added, plus “easier-to-open” doors, modified cupholders and seat levers, and a new telescoping steering wheel. There is so much to love about the 2019 Mazda MX-5.
Now standard in all trims, the car will include a standard reversing camera. Traffic sign recognition, smart city brake support, and i-ACTIVESENSE® safety technologies will be available in the higher trims and as an add-on feature.
Imagine the breeze in your hair, a quiet, yet powerful engine, and the comfort of sitting on a cloud – that’s the new Mazda MX-5. And if you need information regarding a Mazda car loan, we would be glad to help with that as well. Our financing process is quick and easy, so let us get you started with it today.
The New Powertrain in the 2018 Mazda6 Touring
The 2018 Mazda6 is one of our most exciting sedans in stock, but if you haven’t heard our newest development in its Touring trim option, it’s about to get even better. As your Mazda dealers, we have all of the information you need, in addition to the friendly customer service that will make your car shopping experience a positive one.
The 2018 Mazda6 has adopted the SKYACTIV®-X powertrain, which features a combustion method called Spark Controlled Compression Ignition (SPCCI). It’s being called the world’s first commercial petrol engine to use compression ignition. This awesome engine option gives our customers that much more of a choice when it comes to vehicle efficiency.
To simplify that a bit, this new system features technology that combines the benefits of diesel engines (like initial response and fuel economy), but with much cleaner emissions. This optional engine technology will totally change the game for the usual Mazda lineup in our ever-continuing effort to “go green” and conserve fossil fuels.
According to carscoops.com, the model, which debuted at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show earlier this spring, is seeing some slight visual changes to its exterior as well. The most exciting upgrades, though, are reduced noise and vibration and a broader range of i-ACTIVSENSE® safety features like a 360-degree camera system and intelligent speed assist. We have several models available for test drive on our lot already.
For Fairless Hills residents, you can search for “Mazda dealerships near me” to located our dealership lot. We look forward to showing you this model in its various trim levels, colors, and customizable options. Its moderate price and spacious mid-size sedan interior is enough to wow just about anyone! Visit our dealership to see it in person today.
Add Rear Seat Entertainment to Your Mazda CX-9
If you have a Mazda CX-9, we have some exciting news for you! Now available is a special system that can be retrofit into your current model, which offers extra entertainment for those passengers riding in the backseat. If you wish you had sprung for those extra features from the beginning, not to worry, because our trusted Mazda dealership will be more than happy to help with the installation.
Imagine the kids, quiet and entertained, on those long family road trips this summer. They can watch Moana, Jurassic Park, or any other favorite DVDs. Your car can be more versatile and family friendly than ever, with just one quick adjustment.
With a small MSRP price of $1,995, your Mazda CX-9 vehicle can now include rear-seat TVs for endless entertainment on the go. The kit is made up of two 8-inch LCD monitors with a 1024×600 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, a single CD/DVD player, HDMI ports, USB 2.0 and SD car inputs, a 5mm stereo headphone output, two wireless headphones and two remote controls.
According to carscoops.com, the monitors will be able to play the same content or different content simultaneously. This system comes standard on new models in higher specs as well, in addition to redesigned second and third row seating and extra sound insulation. New safety features available in this model include smart city brake support, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
To learn more about this new system or any other hot new Mazda features, come on down to our Mazda showroom in Fairless Hills today. We look forward to helping you customize your vehicle to your exact tastes.
Fuel Efficiency Tips from Peruzzi Mazda
Mazda vehicles are highly efficient in the first place, but if you’re looking for some ways to conserve fuel this summer, we’re here to help. The easiest tip we can give is to add a bit of air to your tires and make sure your gas cap is on tight, however, there’s a lot more you can do to ensure this is your most efficient summer ever.
Even a simple oil change or tire rotation at our Peruzzi Mazda service center has the potential to improve your vehicle’s efficiency. If you’re seeing an unusual decline in efficiency, we’ll want to check your spark plugs, air filters, oxygen sensors, fuel injection systems, and tires, which are the most common culprits for parts-related efficiency issues according to carsdirect.com.
Your driving style can also greatly impact the fuel efficiency of your car. Coast when you can and use cruise control on the highway to maintain that efficient sweet spot. Limiting your use of air conditioning will help, too.
This may seem obvious, but taking the shorter route or fewer trips is an easy way to conserve fuel as well. Avoid travelling when you’re going to hit rush hour traffic because your engine idling soaks up more fuel unnecessarily.
Lastly, if there’s any way to make your car more aerodynamic, do it. Removing roof racks and other exterior accessories when not in use will help you combat that extra wind resistance.
We hope you have a fun and safe summer, and don’t forget to pack your sunscreen! If you live near Fairless Hills and have been searching for “car dealerships near me,” Peruzzi Mazda is here and ready to help. Come see us today.
