2020 Mazda CX-5 in Fairless Hills, PA

As if these top safety ratings weren’t telling enough, the new Mazda CX-5 has a whole slew of standard and available safety features, including some new driver assistance perks that we think you’re going to like.   

  • Blind spot monitoring. This safety features emits a chime and warning light in your side mirror and active driving display when it detects a fast approaching car that may be entering your blind-spot.
  • Rear cross traffic alert. This feature detects vehicles approaching from the side when you’re backing up and warns you with an audio and visual warning.  
  • Advanced smart city brake support. This feature detects the presence of pedestrians both day and night and applies the brakes, if necessary.
  • Lane departure warning system. This feature emits a combination of warnings when you’re about to unintentionally depart from your lane. 
  • Lane-keep assist. Similar to the lane departure system, lane-keep assist performs minor steering corrections automatically.  
  • Adaptive front-lighting system. This feature helps you see around corners at night with pivoting LED headlights pivot that work to give you a wider view.  
  • Radar cruise control with stop and go functions. This unique safety feature lets you maintain a set speed. If a vehicle ahead of you reduces its speed or stops, your car will automatically adjust to avoid an accident.
