Driving on tires that need to be replaced is not safe, especially with intense winter weather on the horizon. There are a few factors to consider to determine whether your tires still have some miles left in them. When you make the decision that it’s time for new tires, call, stop by, or use our website’s Mazda Tire Center to shop for a new set

Here are some questions you can ask yourself to determine whether your Mazda3 needs new tires.

1. How Well Do They Stay Inflated?

Sometimes with minor tire inflation issues, a patch or other repair work does the job. However, if inflation is a frequent problem, you may be due for a new set of tires. The last thing you want is a blowout on the road!

2. How Deep is the Tread?

This is really the biggest factor when it comes to buying a new set of tires. If the tread on your tires is no longer deep, it’s probably not safe to drive on them anymore. A good tread allows for more traction, which means your tires are more likely to stay firmly on the road despite rain, snow, and ice.

3. Do You Have a Spare Handy?

Spare tires are not meant to be driven longterm or at high speeds. If you’re currently driving on a spare, you need a new tire as soon as possibleYou should always have a functional spare tire in your vehicle in case a flat tire or other tire emergency should happen.

When it’s time to buy new tires, our Mazda service center at Peruzzi Mazda is your destination. We hope you and your family have a great holiday season, and we look forward to working with you soon!
