2019 Mazda3

What We’ve Learned about the Mazda3

As your local Mazda dealership, we get really enthusiastic about new models that we will be able to offer to our customers in the future, as well as the wide selection we’ve got on hand now. We’ve just gotten a sneak peek at the official drawings for the upcoming 2019 Mazda3, and we have to let you know just how impressed we were!   The Mazda3 has been one of our favorite hatchback/sedan combos of late thanks to its compact, yet comfortable nature. However, we have so much more to look forward to in its next generation, which is expected to remind us of the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-9 redesigns.   Now in early production, the 2019 Mazda3 is likely to include a fresh look with a more aggressive front-end including slimmer lights and wider U-shaped grille that cuts into the headlamps, plus a smoother ride than previous model years.   We are told the interior will stay simple and clean, but with some upgrades there as well. This includes a brand new instrument panel, oval air vents, and a massive digital screen. Experts are also predicting the new Mazda3 will employ the latest Mazda SKYACTIV®-Vehicle Architecture, which should help it compete in the largest, most extraordinary auto segment out there.   We plan to update you with more information as we get it, but in terms of safety, tech, comfort, and performance, we have no doubts this car will continue to surprise us. We are hoping to see this model debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, but only time will tell. We’ll be anxiously awaiting a closer look until then.   Come see us in Fairless Hills today and we can chat more about our Mazda cars for sale.

What are the Different Types of Vehicle Fluids?

At Peruzzi Mazda, we have many new cars for sale, and we have the expertise to help you with every other aspect of car buying and ownership. When you’re in a situation where you step out of the car and notice fluid pooling underneath it, it’s helpful to have an idea of what fluid it may be and how serious the issue is. We’ve got a breakdown of the different vehicle fluids and their appearances today for you. OIL - Easily the most notable vehicle fluid, it’s usually a dark brown or thick black liquid. You should have your oil changed every three months or so to keep your engine properly lubricated and working efficiently. TRANSMISSION FLUID - Typically a thin red to brown color, it does as the name suggests - keeps your transmission lubricated. POWER STEERING FLUID - Another reddish brown liquid, but this one helps keep your vehicle steering easily and safely. You can tell that it’s power steering leaking if it’s toward the front of the car rather than the center. BRAKE FLUID - Clear to brown, slick-feeling liquid. It keeps your brakes working without an inordinate amount of friction. ANTIFREEZE - (AKA coolant or radiator fluid) This can vary in color, but it’s usually bright like an orange or green shade. This fluid should only be checked when the car is off and cooled-down. WASHER FLUID - Blue liquid that keeps your windshield clean and easy to see through. WATER - If the liquid is clear and odorless, chances are it’s just condensation from the AC. Not to worry, this is normal!   Make an appointment with our Peruzzi service center in Fairless Hills and we will gladly set you up for an oil change, or any other needed fluid change or fill-up.

Imagine the Mazda CX-5 with a Turbocharged Engine

The Mazda CX-5 could have a turbocharged engine? Say what? Well, according to Carscoops, that’s the rumor for the next model year of this Mazda SUV. The professionals at Peruzzi Mazda are here today to talk about what we’ve heard and to daydream about the future of this very special Mazda vehicle with you. If you’re familiar with the current Mazda CX-5, you’ll likely want to prepare yourself for some changes for the next model year. The car saw a design overhaul back in 2016, so it’s about time for a few things to change. The biggest change we hope to see is that possibility of a turbocharged engine added. The Mazda CX-5 GT would likely be the model that would include the ultra-powerful 2.5-liter SKYACTIV®-G engine we’ve seen in the Mazda6 and Mazda CX-9. This optional engine is ideal for performance-oriented drivers because it produces up to 250 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque when running on 93 octane fuel. That’s a significant amount greater than the current Mazda CX-5 offers in its standard form. Another rumored improvement we might see is the addition of G-Vectoring Control Plus technology, as well as some changes to the interior like a new instrument cluster. We can’t wait to see what else Mazda engineers have come up with once this model is officially unveiled later this year. We promise to keep you updated as we learn more about this upcoming model or any others in our large new and pre-owned Mazda inventory. We would also simply love to be the Mazda dealer you come to with all of your automotive needs, so make sure you come to us when you’re in the Fairless Hills area.

Service vs. Collision Centers

As all other Mazda dealers do, we have a state-of-the-art Mazda service center. However, what sets us apart from your average Mazda dealership, as well as local car dealers of other brands, is the fact that we also offer a collision center. If you’re unsure what the difference is or what services a collision center may offer that your typical service center does not, this post is for you. At our nearby collision center, we make sure we are there to help with even your worst case scenario repairs. We accept all insurance companies and work with only I-CAR certified technicians, plus, our collision center is Assured Performance Certified. All of these qualifications aside, the big difference between a collision center and a service center is that we are equipped to help with even the most in-depth repairs like dents, wheel repairs, upholstry repairs, autoglass repairs, and any other complex repairs resulting from a collision. We are there to make sure every aspect of your car is safe again after it’s been compromised in an accident. Even if it’s a smaller problem, we have the detail-oriented staff that will make your car beautiful again - we can even remove and repair dents without messing up your paint job, and we offer expert color matching regardless of the make and model. Now, when it comes to routine services like tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and minor repairs, a service center like ours is more than prepared to help with that, too. Come by Peruzzi Mazda today and we promise to help you get your car looking and feeling practically brand new again.

More About the 2018 Mazda6

The 2018 Mazda6 has been on our lot for a couple months, but that doesn’t mean the excitement surrounding this vehicle has toned down at all. We love this car for many reasons - from its turbo motor to the upscale touches that remind of us a classic Japanese temple, there’s so much to discuss with this car. According to Auto Week, one should never complain about more power in a Mazda car, and that’s exactly what the Mazda6 is offering. If you love the punchier motor like that of the Mazda CX-9, but want it in a sedan, we’re here to say your dreams have come true. The SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T motor, when run on 93-octane fuel, gets up to 250 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque, a substantial upgrade from last year. There are some other non-turbo options, including a six-speed manual vehicle. This vehicle also has great styling and a well-designed interior for 2019. Brown nappa leather inspired by aged wood in Japanese temples, UltraSuede NU adorned with a gold tint reminiscent of ornate kimonos, and Sen wood accents like that used in taiko drums and Japanese furniture come together for a totally unique look. This vehicle has so much power, personality, and a deep connection to Japanese heritage, it’s really unlike any others in our lineup. It’s also quieter with thicker suspension trailing link mounts which make for improved handling - even though the handling was well-received before. If you’ve been looking for Mazda dealerships in PA, we are the one you should trust with your new car decision and you can view this model on our lot currently. We look forward to working with you today.

The Importance of a Test Drive

At Peruzzi Mazda, we love to share tips and information with our customers to make their car buying decision a little easier. We also take great pride in having such a fair and efficient Peruzzi service center to call our own. Today, we want to stress the importance of test driving and give some tips to help you get the most out of it. It can be overwhelming to make that kind of selection on the spot, so come with your list of favorite models handy and it’ll be stress free. Take Notes It may seem a little dorky, but if you’re really caught between a few choices, taking notes will help, especially if you’re buying pre-owned and have even more factors to consider like mileage and condition. You can write the pros and cons of each, take pictures, and otherwise write down information that you’ll want to remember later as you make your final decision. Take Your Time Make sure you come to test drive at a day or time when you won’t be in a hurry to leave. Take a few moments to drive, and then take a seat in the passenger side. Riding from that perspective may help you notice things you were unable to when you were busy driving. We hope these quick tips helped and that you have fun on your next test driving excursion. If you live in or near Fairless Hills and have searched online for “ car dealerships near me,” we are your local Mazda dealers, and we are here to help.

When is it Time for Brake Service?

Have you had your brakes checked recently? It’s a smart idea to get them routinely checked (like each time you get an oil change) so when they are in need of service or replacement, the experts in our Peruzzi service center can help right away. And, we’ve got all the information you need about brake service and replacement below, for those who may need a refresher. Brake Service: What and Why? Healthy brakes are important for every vehicle, especially when it comes to driving in inclement weather or stopping in the case of an emergency. You need properly functioning brakes to keep you safe. While the lifespan of different brake pads varies from 25,000 to 70,000 miles, your vehicle manual may be able to give you a better idea of how long yours will last. As a rule of thumb though, brakes pads should be replaced and/or serviced as needed. The occasional fluid swap may be necessary, too. When your brake pad is at or below ¼ inch, it is no longer safe. Other issues you might be having with your brakes can be identified by a number of other symptoms: difficulty braking, vibrations, growling or screeching sounds, or if your vehicle pulls to one side when you use the brakes. We hope this quick info reminded you how important brakes and brake pads are for you car, and gave you a reminder to have yours checked ASAP. As your Mazda dealership in PA, we want to help you get those brakes taken care of, and stay on budget, too, with a variety of coupons and specials, so we invite you to check out our current specials online before you come in! Right now, we have a free Pennsylvania state safety inspective when you get a Pennsylvania state emissions test. This offer is valid through Dec. 31.
