Mazda service

Basic Mazda car care is easy and anybody can do it. This shouldn’t, however, be confused for Mazda service. Car care consists of keeping a vehicle clean and tidy, ensuring that the air in the tires is at the right pressure, and that the fluids are at the correct levels.

Service involves much more intricate tasks that, unless you have the know-how, should only be left to the pros.

1. Oil Changes

An oil change is a dirty job that requires that you get under your car to drain out the old stuff. You not only have to collect it, but you have to dispose of it properly. You also need to have the right type of new oil on hand and an adequate amount.

2. Tire Rotations

Many people think that a tire rotation just means taking off the tires and putting them in new places. And while that’s the basic idea, they can’t just be put anywhere. The tread wear has to be analyzed in order to determine where they need to go.

3. Multi-Point Inspections

A regular multi-point inspection is important to gauge the health of your vehicle. This involves taking a close look at a number of things, including the belts, hoses, and battery. And while you can certain look at these parts, would you be able to tell if something is amiss? Only a trained eye can tell if something is wrong or if there’s a minor issue that could turn into something major if left unattended.

If your car is due for service, a DIY approach is probably not the best idea. Instead, put it in the hands of the pros at Peruzzi Mazda in Fairless Hills, PA.
